RELIABLE BY DESIGN

Leslie DBOY(S)-3 class valves have been designed to operate under the most demanding flow control conditions. The heart of these valves is the massive cage guidance system for the valve plug which provides strength, rigidity and years of precise flow control even in very high pressure drop applications. Leslie’s cage guided type control valves are ideally suited for steam, gas or clean liquid applications, and control pressures well above 1000 psi.

No other similar type valve in the industry offers the superior features of the Leslie Class DBOY(S)-3.

HIGH FLOW CAPACITIES

Leslie’s flow capacities are greater than or equal to comparable competitive designs. Valve body flow areas 142% greater than pipe size area reduce body velocities and pressure losses, maximizing valve body life.

BOLTED ACTUATOR YOKE

Conventional lock-nut actuator mounting design valves are easily ruined and scrapped due to corrosion. Leslie’s 4-bolt actuator mounting guarantees ease of disassembly no matter how corrossive the environment.

CONTROLLED SEAT LOADING

Unlike competitive cage retained seats, Leslie’s design utilizes a 17-4 Ph stainless steel Belleville load ring to maintain a constant seat gasket load even in temperature cycling service.
